I followed a group in facebook and there was post from a friend. Spend a lil bit time to read :)
Assalamualaikum syeikh sekalian.
1. Doa.(minta Allah permudahkan)
2. Fikir (minta ilham dari Allah)
3. Jangan takut.(jadikan Rasulullah sebagai motivasi terbaik)
4. Lakukan kerana Allah.(cari keredhaan Allah, tujuan kita hidup)
5. Tawakkal lepas usaha.(minta Allah berkati usaha)
Akidah ibarat lalang. Iman senipis kulit bawang.
Semoga usaha kita Allah lihat. Semoga Allah memberikan rijalullah yang membaca post ini rahmat dan ilham. In shaa Allah. Assalamualaikum.

Dad
Dad. :D
This just popped out of my mind and I feel I want to write something about him.
This story maybe just a glimpse about what he always did to me, because what he truly did, is beyond what I may think about it as a son.
His name is Samsuddin, 54 years old.
A lecturer in International Islamic University Malaysia.
Born in Negeri Sembilan.
A dad to me.
Maybe this post is like a bit emotional to me, ( you can not read now, seriously eave this blog ) but in future, when I read this post, I should be proud of myself because I wrote about him.
I always thought that a father's love is not as cool as mother's love. Yeah that's true, haha. But I did not always see my father did it physically. You know, in front of my eyes. He did, just that it is not as cool as mum. Adoii apa compare ni haha xkena cerita. Okay back on track.
Until one moment, my impression changed by bits to bits, positively That moment was on December 2009. It was during the SPM results. Erm I was in a class where it starts with capital A, Abu Bakar, not the first class lol. During the announcement of the results, it did not follow any of the rankings of the 8A's achievements ( like who was the highest scorer between the straight A's) , they just follow alphabetically. And my name was the first, Ahmad Shaqir. As I was jumping fly high, my dad screamed "That's my son, That's my son".
Then, I asked him why did he said like that, he said " I thought you're the first in the rankings, ". Well that made me laugh, no way I'll get the top rankings, haha. But to my dad, it was joy.
He was strict to me, but he was really kind to me as I was the last child. anak bongsu :p
During my SPM years, my dad was like the type, " xpe, blaja je, blaja ikut kemampuan " and I was like " Heyy mana boleh, belajar kena betul2 lah " and that moment, I think my father understands more than I did. He did not agree to a certain extent with the current education as he said, " Our system is exam oriented" means that this not a good way to survive university. So he was cool, and I'm the one who's struggling.
Then during my SPM results, my dad was amazed when he saw my results, maybe out of his expectation. To me, I'm surprised too, haha. But it was acceptable if compared to what hardship I've been through. cheh konon
Then I went into my preparation, it was different. My father was the one who pressured me all the time, in a positive way. I did not understand why, but he kept on doing that. My first sem results were not good, and he kept scolding. I did not understand. Then now, I followed his advise and my results turned out to be better than before. Maybe he tried to avoid me from any mistakes on what he did, perhaps. Only God knows.
This is not about my studies, it's about the blessing I'm talking about.
I hope it is still early that I realised how my father greatly affected my life.
Sometimes there were bad thoughts,
What if I finished my studies, he will be too old?
Do I have the chance to do anything with him later in the future?
Do I still have the chance to say, " you're the greatest dad ! " ?
I remembered what my brother said " Death is near us, nearer than anyone could guess. It's around us".
Thinking about what my dad did for me, extroadinary. He's cool in front of me, but behind me? Maybe he worried about my studies, my finance, my health while I am joyfully living in college.
So what could I do?
Answer, pray for their health, ask Allah to protect them and bless them.
Be kind to them, call them many times ( working on it) , anything what a son should do.
This thing really changed me, a lot.
I hope that, he'll be there always in my heart.
Sorry for grammatical mistakes, and a bit emotional lol. To me, this is cool :D

In his Pocket, a power dose of inspiring Rockets
Yesterday I watched the football match between Manchester United vs Everton, which ended up Reds lead to a 2 - 0 victory and a 12 lead points triumph. What a splendid way could I had ended my night.
I switched off the television. That sports channel.
8 in the morning, I switched it on back. I saw Azizul Hasni Awang, the Pocket Rocket Man was interviewed by a sports anchor during an event. So I decided to watch the interview. Who would have guessed, just now, could have been one of inspiring moments in my life.
It's not just the way he talked that impressed me, the content that he gave inspired me. I was surprised, how could an athlete could have spoken such good English? Then he said that he had been living in Australia with his coach and wife for his training. That's good.
What made me amazed is that all this while as long I saw Malay athletes interviewed with people who converse in English, they answered in Malay. Even though they could speak in English, they preferred to speak in Malay. Maybe that is from their environment, so they should not be blamed. So keep it that way which is better, isn't it?
Well sometimes choosing a different pathway would lead to a better outcome.
There are two things I would like to highlight from that interview.
Firstly, he chose to be in the cycling world. He was a bright student as his family wanted him to be a doctor based on his academic results. He followed his parents' wish which was to focus more on his studies but at one point, he decided that his career was to be a cyclist. Maybe from what I have stated, it doesn't convey enough emotion as I expected it to be.
Imagine that you're the one who was in that position. Stuck between two pathways. You know you could excel both in pathways, but either one with pros and cons. He knew if he could have followed his parents wishes, he would be a doctor, and probably have a life with good income and living treating people. If he chose to be a cyclist, he maybe ended up a flop and would not go further in his life to achieve the best that he could.
But with his passion, he chose to be a cyclist. He is not 'anak derhaka' or any terms similar to that to me, he followed his parents wish which was to studied well and there were already blessings from his parents. He believe he could do it that way, and he did it. Look where he stands now, he is a world class athlete. Something that not all Malaysian athletes would have achieve it.
Secondly, he was asked with this question,
" We've been informed that you area part time student learning in Melbourne. Could you juggle up between your time and trainings? "
He answered, he believed that Malaysian athletes lack of knowledge. They could not just lie on their sports career, they have to explore more. To him,
"Knowledge is power"
To me, this is a surprising statement as the same time embarrassed as I'm a student who should have studying right now, Lol joke . I usually hear this from a leader or a professor, someone that have their life dedicated to gain knowledge, but not from an athlete.
This could be reflected in my life, sometimes I lack of enthusiasm to learn. Maybe because of I lack of motivation or doing the same thing every day makes me bored. Well that's human nature, we have to think ways to excite ourselves at the same time studying seriously. To see an athlete who says those kind of words just amazed me, not too amazed, but it motivates me.
With knowledge, he's a step forward than the other athletes that are same level as him. He has mission and he knows where he would go in coming years. I respected him for that because of his determination and as a world class athlete, he is not brought away with any compliments. He just... yeah, keep moving forward.
It's a wonderful thing to see a Malay, Malaysian and most of all a Muslim to achieve this far. Maybe his achievements were not as big as other world class athletes, but to Malaysians especially the Malay, he is moving forward and should have been a role model to the young generations in Malaysia.
As a student,I am inspired. Even an athlete dying for knowledge, I should have learn better and should not live in an easy and fancy world.

The moment when metaphores makes sense
The power of thinking excites me. It gives me headache, but it's fun.
Thinking creates the urge to read. Read creates excitement of gaining knowledge.
When did I get the interest to think... Hrrrm let me think.... Well being pampered in school for two years just helped a little bit on my views on the world. Well y'know being in a boarding school, the school itself is your country and the people who associate there are the rakyats. Well, that's just what I assume school is. And yeah, somehow I think that the Head Prefect is the Prime Minister.
Well, I'm 17.
Being in boarding school, again, did not really develop on my way of thinking. Okay we have the source, the internet. But where do we surf, yes, Facebook, blogs, twitter etc. We don't see the significance of opening the news website or intellectual blogs. However to me that is okay as we're just students back then, our job is to excel the examination of Sijil Paling M..... you name it.
My debate teacher had exposed to us on how important on thinking differently, and unfortunately, I was not thinking deep enough. Well, again, I think Sijil Paling M... is the most important thing and reading is not as important as scoring an A in exams. Lol.
How silly I am.
You know, when you performed in a certain level, I believe that Allah will put us at a stage where we would go to a place where we deserved. If you work harder, u deserved that place. But "that" place is all in Allah's decision and yeah, beyond our prediction. Uncertainties.
Then I moved into college. I meet great minds. They're good, new and exciting facts just flow out of their mouth like a river, its continuous. Voila, I'm amazed. Where do they have this ability?
Are they gifted? Perhaps.
Let's just put aside the 'gifted' aspect, I would like to view this as " how curiosity develops thinking ".
When we asked toooo many questions, where when how why , you know where you could get the answer, reading. By that, that creates an urgency to read.
I'm just starting my reading like two months ago and it showed positive results. Somehow when something happens, I know why is it happening instead of ignoring it.
What type of book to read? If you ask me, non-fiction books. It depends on every people, they have their own interest. I respect their own reasons on having that genre but I have my own solid good reasons. If we're in discussions, let say, with friends about serious matter. To me people will agree with the opinion that is told by a person who knows it and experienced it well enough. Are you going to discuss about love and decide which is the best solution based on the which love story is the most romantic? Well, no. That's just absurd.
Keep on thinking. Keep on reading. Keep on discussing.
As we're young, we're not puppets who always give in but never digest.
We're the ones who digest and produce the best solution and comments.
Unfortunately, living in fantasy seems to good to be true. Sigh

Introduction : 19th Chapter
Assalamualaikum and a very good evening :D
Well hey there, this is my second serious blog that I'll write. Erm actually, I wanted to improve my English writing so I just make this blog as a place to write what I think about. I don't think I'll express my negative feelings in this blog, but just to write for fun.
Well, erm.. Introduction ayte? Shaqir is the name. 19. Living in Seremban. Studies in Shah Alam. Well there's nothing great to be shared about me, but let's just say Alhamdulillah, Allah had given and always gives the best that I should get in my life.
The 19th chapter. I think this will be another tough year after the 17th chapter. 18th chapter is quite boring... but yeah, this chapter is important.
So like any other people, I'll write what my aim for this year and let's see wether I could achieve it or not
1. Ausmat ATAR 95
2. Spec Maths A ( well other subjects too, but I really like spec maths. hoho susah weh))
There are a lot of targets that I wanted to achieve but these two is the most highlighted things in this chapter of life, perhaps.
Yes, I'm a Muslim. I know the power to obtain it or not, lies in the decision of Allah. But before that, I always remind myself that...
Before it happens, let me tell myself " At this level, You have done a really good job ".
I know what I'm facing this year is hard, but it's possible. I'm just an ordinary guy. I'm no special.... but I know where I'm going for the time being. I should be studying. Seriously, at my level, you would understand why I really emphasis on this.
Writing this blog is also studying, as I try to get my momentum back on using my vocabs. Well I'll be facing my IELTS examination this coming April. So... Everything is vital now.
It's different from SPM.
So I'll just type whatever I believe necessary to share.
